Camps

Our camps are celebrated by campers and parents across the community.  Each provides a unique environment of love, respect, and learning. Our camps have different themes each season, but they are all inspired by our underlying camp philosophy.

About our camps

Our children’s camps are celebrated by children and parents throughout the area. Within our camps we aim to create a unique environment of love and respect - a community for adventure, learning, and fun. Our camps have different themes, but each is designed to spark the sense of wonder on which children thrive. All Schoolhouse camps include experiences in Earth awareness, camp skills, river wading, storytelling, campfires, and games.

“...my oldest son, took part in the very first summer camp organized by Schoolhouse of Wonder when he was 7 years old…as well as every camp they offered that he could possibly attend in all the years since then. He went on to be an intern and then to be a counselor at the summer camp. Before heading to college he wrote his college application essay about his experiences, and the personal maturity and insight he had developed as a result of the Schoolhouse of Wonder.”
-Deborah Jakubs, Parent, and member of the Schoolhouse of Wonder Board of Directors

Part of our camp experience is creating a true community, so we do ask that each camper be present each day. Families and friends are invited to our Friday finale and snack potluck from 4-5pm (2-3pm for the younger children camps) at the main park picnic shelter.

We look forward to seeing you!

You may email or call us to get on a waiting list for a seat in any camps that have filled.
