Grades 3 - 5
This expansion and continuation of Native Ways I for grades 3 - 5, builds on children’s inherent interest in Nature, as we look more deeply into indigenous hunting skills, including tracking and stalking, bow-and-arrow, the primitive spear, and traps. Students gain direct experience with the ancient principles of foraging and observing the ways of animals so fundamental to all native peoples.
