With life-long naturalists, Wayne Poole and Dave Cook.
grades 3-5
Come explore the Natural History of the Eno River and its landed byways, entering into the wonders of plant and animal communities in their natural habitats. In the company of a trained naturalist, students investigate wildlife adaptations, behaviors, and habitats of a Carolina ecosystem, following the wisdom of their own curiosities and under the spell of their own inquiry. This class of field, stream, and forest cultivates students’ imaginations while encouraging them to become more familiar with Nature’s ways and forces.
