Welcome to Sky Camp - an adventure for younger campers celebrating the celestial sphere. We’ll take the time to let our minds wander in the clouds, dreaming in the summer breeze. This will be a time of whimsy, with bubbles, kites, and other things that float in the sky. We’ll become birds, bats, moths, butterflies, and other creatures of the air as we play games in the meadow. At story time, we’ll hear myths about how it all began, and make up our own stories as well about the sun, moon, and twinkling stars.
The Sky Camp experience allows campers to discover and celebrate the magic and wonder of nature. The activities, stories and songs we’ll experience during this fun-filled week are designed to inspire and nurture children’s interest in the natural world.
Sky Camp for ages 5-7 ends at 3pm and has a staff to camper ratio of 1:6. Sky Camp will have a home base in the meadow next to the farm house.
Activities may include:
- Kite flying
- cloud watching
- Dream catchers and other feather and bead crafts
- Wading and floating in the Eno at river time
- Sky stories from around the world
